1) Patriotic Lapghans for Veterans🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 -Our goal is that every Veteran entering Hospice receives a patriotic quilt

Want free fabric? Thanks to a generous Grant from Hearts For Hospice we have supplies available for this project. To receive fabric from this grant, a donation history with us is required, so please ensure you have made and tallied donations in some other way prior to your request.
2) Quilts (Lapghans)- (Sewn)

Fabrics for any patient to offer comfort in Hospice. These will be used during care and placed over them for walk-out then presented to the family to take home.

A variety of fabrics for all genders and interests are appreciated. Nurses pick out just the right quilt for the right patient.

3) Twiddle Muffs -knit/crochet Twiddle muffs are wonderful at providing a comforting sensory experience. Patients will redirect their fidgeting to the muff.

4) Wheelchair Warmer Blanket - Made from fleece and quilting cotton blanket with a kangaroo pocket has cut outs at the bottom to prevent it from getting caught in the wheels. These can be made in any colors you like. They do not need to be Patriotic (but can be if you want). These will be offered to all patients in Hospice and Palliative care.
5) Dignity Covers & Scarves - These are worn so patients can eat and keep their clothes clean yet not feel as if they are wearing a bib.

6) Wheelchair Shawl - This easy to knit or crochet shawl helps take the chill off of someone as they sit in a wheelchair. It is perfectly shaped to stay on the shoulders.
🇺🇸 Items for Veterans- When you tally your item, please indicate on the tally sheet that it is an item for a Veteran so we can keep track of how many Veteran themed items they have received. Thank you.

Items for all programs at Cascade Health will be shipped directly to them at their main office. Please ensure you put a Care Slip in with your donations so they know who they are from, what is included and materials used.

If you have lots of large items you are welcome to use a Give Back Box label and send to CCHQ along with any other items you have coming to HQ. We will have a delivery to them in person at least once per month from local Craftivists.
